Where to start?  It is always easier to add good foods in an effort to crowd out what I would like to avoid.  For me, my trigger foods are croissants, brioche and scones.  I also know that if I do start the day with one of these, I find it very difficult to not eat simple carbs throughout the day.  So I need a two phase plan:  what would be a better breakfast and what new healthy habit could I add to my day - something easy.

I know that going for a morning pastry is super easy, super fast and super delicious. With this in mind, I need to pick a breakfast item with those same qualities.  My first thought is brown rice hot cereal which cooks in 8 minutes and I know I have an amazing  peach to add to it - yum!  The other goal is to add more water to my day.  I know I have been drinking a lot of iced tea instead of water so now I want to reverse that - more water, less tea.

First steps.
