Well, here I sit.  Saturday night, watching Big Bang! Theory reruns, with wicked heartburn, feeling gassy and slightly bloated.  I have been eating papaya tablets like it was my job going through an entire bottle in three days.  I know I have been eating the wrong things because I feel it in my body.  I am overweight and stressed out.  I realize this all sounds pretty pedestrian but I am a "nutrition expert".  It is my joy and privilege to help people find food that works for them, to create healthy eating habits and find ways to reduce stress.  I know what I am doing wrong and I know how to fix it.  As soon as you throw in everyday stresses, self care - especially if you are a woman - becomes difficult if not impossible.  

I have been a successful health coach since 2007.  Teaching classes, giving presentations, group classes, private sessions - I've done it all!  I love supporting people. Yet here I sit....

So I have decided to use this blog in an effort to coach myself through the process of change. It is my hope that through the process of writing I can make connections, discover habits and find the path I need to be walking.
